Job Description
Instrumentation & Controls Technician Compensation:
$40-$45/hourSchedule:
Day Shift | Monday-Friday We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Technician to join a growing industrial operation. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing automation and control systems in a production environment. This is a field-focused role where you'll spend your time diagnosing issues, supporting operations, and ensuring equipment reliability—not sitting behind a desk programming all day. Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems
- Support Allen Bradley PLC platforms and related control systems
- Diagnose and resolve instrumentation and electrical control issues
- Work with HMI/touchscreen interfaces and industrial networking systems
- Troubleshoot and calibrate pressure transmitters, level transmitters, and related instrumentation
- Maintain and improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency
- Support plant operations through timely troubleshooting and repairs
- Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime Qualifications
- 4+ years of Allen Bradley PLC experience preferred
- Experience with Automation Direct systems a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with industrial networking and HMI systems
- Knowledge of instrumentation, including 4-20mA loops, pressure transmitters, and level transmitters
- Ability to work independently in a production environment
