Welcome to Bosch. The Lincolnton, NC Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center is located approximately 30 miles from Charlotte. The facility employs just under 500 full time associates in a 5-shift operation, which encompasses 235,000 sq ft. along with 12,000 skus. In addition to the conversion, customizing and packaging activities, abrasives are now a big part of our power tool accessory business. ISO certified, our associates engage in BPS, CIP and 5S . By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled Job Description Troubleshoot, diagnose and replace faulty electrical and electronic components of automated production machinery such as relays, switches, motors, servo systems, drives, positions sensing devices, printed circuit boards and PLCs. Plan and implement backup data base and maintain it with the most current version of the machine programs. Support the development of team members. Assist with IoT and Industry 4.0 connections and Data collection projects. Read, interpret, and make changes and updates to electrical schematic drawings, control systems using PLCs and/or CNC control systems Promote a team environment that is focused on customer satisfaction. Install HMIs as well as downloading the programming. Ability to manipulate software to modify or add functions to HMI layouts, screens and functionality. Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications AS degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline 7+ years working understanding and proficiency Programming Logic Controllers (PLC) (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Rexroth) Configuring and/or designing HMI systems. Working knowledge in troubleshooting control system issues High level of teamwork, initiative, organizational and problem solving skills. Demonstrate discipline and consistency regarding adherence to standards, policies and procedures.
