Position Summary:
The Measure Technician serves as the critical link between the Sales, Production, and Installation teams. This position is responsible for conducting post-sale site verification visits, obtaining precise measurements for product ordering, identifying installation requirements, documenting jobsite conditions, and placing accurate product orders. The Measure Technician is the final checkpoint before products are ordered and is accountable for ensuring projects are sold, ordered, and installed correctly.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Visit customer homes after the sale to verify project scope and obtain precise measurements for ordering.
  • Review contracts with homeowners and confirm products, colors, glass packages, grids, hardware, and other specifications.
  • Measure windows, entry doors, patio doors, and other products to company standards and manufacturer requirements.
  • Examine existing openings, structures, and surrounding conditions to identify potential installation challenges.
  • Document measurements, photographs, diagrams, and jobsite notes.
  • Prepare and submit accurate product orders.
  • Review siding and roofing projects and verify material quantities utilizing Hover measurements.
  • Identify installation concerns and provide detailed notes and installation instructions.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and establish realistic expectations.
  • Identify legitimate opportunities for project additions, upgrades, or required changes.
  • Work closely with Sales, Production, Service, and Installation teams.
  • Promote and carry out company Core Values.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Work Hours & Benefits:
This is a full-time position. Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance are offered after 60 days of employment. A 401k plan is available after one year of employment with an employer match.
Measure Technician Qualifications/Skills:
Valid Driver's License Strong math, measuring, and problem-solving skills Ability to accurately measure insert and full-frame replacement products Strong attention to detail and documentation Professional verbal and written communication skills Process-driven with strong organizational skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Five years' experience in carpentry, window or siding installation or similar position. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer/tablet abilities. Experience with CRM systems preferred.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
