Job Description

Our client, a manufacturer in Irvington, NJ is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Controls Technician to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated production systems and control processes and will install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and parts. This position requires extensive knowledge of PLC, Scada and electrical components, wiring electrical enclosures as per schematic as well as electrical safety codes and regulations. Salary starting at $37.00 per hour Monday
  • Friday 6:30a
  • 4:30pm and 2 Saturdays a month 6:30a
  • 12:00p Responsibilities Develop, program, and configure PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.
) and SCADA systems for industrial automation projects. Create and maintain control logic, HMI screens, and communication protocols. Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical industrial and facilities equipment. Develop and maintain control system designs, schematics, and BOMs, using CMSE Standards Perform scheduled inspections, servicing, and testing of equipment
  • preventive maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components to minimize downtime.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), sensors, and vision inspection systems.
Skills :
High school diploma, GED or trade school required 3+ years of experience as a Control Technician including PLC and SCADA programming and troubleshooting. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and AutoCAD layouts to support system installation and repairs Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to develop or modify schematics for new or existing equipment. Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industriaal equipment Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulics Ability to read schematics and blueprints Knowledge of Electrical Safety & Arc Flash a plus Electrical Technology or Engineering Degree or Electrical certification preferred Bilingual greatly preferred
