Job Description

Principal Accountabilities:
Conduct patient interviews; and obtain and document vital signs, weights, and heights. Support clinic visits (walk-in and scheduled) by verifying patient information, accurately recording clinical data, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Assist patients with mobility, including ambulation and transfers, and guide them through the care process to ensure timely arrival to scheduled appointments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, vital signs, and clinical observations. Perform clinical procedures, including EKGs and phlebotomy, while maintaining related equipment and inventory. Observe, monitor, and report changes in patient condition to the RN in a timely manner. Provide emotional support to patients in alignment with the established plan of care. Demonstrate professionalism at all times, with strong communication skills, active listening, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a strong work ethic. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required:
1. HS Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
1. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written 2. Patient, compassionate nature 3. Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nurses 4. Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systems
