Craft/Classic Industrial Electrical Controls Technician providing maintenance in an automotive manufacturing facility. Self-starter who is hardworking, highly motivated and eager to learn and willingness to be trained to company standards. An excellent communicator who is able to follow directions efficiently and provide feedback in a timely manner. We are a highly customer focused organization; as a result, overtime is required to meet business needs.
Job Responsibilities include:
Ability to repair and maintain electrical equipment according to specifications and instructions as well as ability to read diagrams, sketches, advanced blueprints and operation manuals. Inspect and troubleshoot, repair and replace faulty equipment. Perform basic electrical duties to include electrical installation, repair and/or replacement of switches, push buttons, circuits, panels, breakers, suppressors, transformers and other control devices. Able to install and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems including; motor control circuits. Experience with installing and troubleshooting industrial controls systems including, 240v, 110v AC and 24v DC circuits.
Requirements:
Prefer a minimum of three years' experience in an industrial setting Familiarity with National Electrical Code Ability to operate scissor lifts, fork trucks, boom lifts, and other industrial equipment safely Able to work at heights in a safety harness
Additional Requirements:
Available to work any shift, to include week-ends. Speak, read and write fluent English Have a verifiable stable work history Successfully complete Chemical screen and thorough background checks to include Criminal History and work history Able to lift up to 25 lbs Able to stand for long periods of time Hard working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail Safety conscious and able to work well with others
