Job Description

Electrical Controls Lead•Industrial PLC/Controls/AutomationWe are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Lead to support our automated manufacturing systems out of our Northern Memphis location, in support of plant maintenance and reliability efforts, with the goal of improving UPTIME, optimizing both OUTPUT and QUALITY, and supporting the various teams onsite through leadership and guidance of troubleshooting efforts for our electrical and control technologies and systems across the facility.

Some of the day to day responsibilities of this LEAD will include the following:

Automation Leadership•Serve as the primary resource for PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion systems, and industrial networks.

Troubleshooting Support•Lead resolution of complex electrical and control issues to reduce downtime.

System Standards•Maintain programming, documentation, and change control practices.

Reliability Improvements•Drive root cause analysis, preventive strategies, and equipment optimization.

Team Guidance•Mentor controls technicians and support skill development.

Project Participation•Contribute to equipment upgrades, commissioning, and cross functional initiatives.

Safety Compliance•Promote safe electrical work, LOTO, and adherence to code requirements.

Those wiith the following experience/qualifications will be given priority consideration:

Technical Degree in electrical, automation, or related discipline.

Manufacturing Controls Experience•5+ years in electrical or controls maintenance.

Automation Skills•Strong proficiency with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and HMI systems.

Advanced Technologies•Experience with robotics, vision systems, or motion control.

Reliability Tools•Familiarity with CMMS, TPM, or reliability focused programs.

Code Knowledge•Working understanding of NEC and safe electrical practices.
