In this role, you will play a critical part in our design-build and commercial projects by building panels, routing containment, and handling low-voltage terminations. You will work closely with our field teams to ensure all control systems are installed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities Wiring & Termination:
Land and terminate low-voltage control wiring for commercial HVAC equipment, sensors, and controllers.
Panel Building:
Assemble, mount, and wire control panels following engineering schematics and project specifications.
Conduit Installation:
Pull pipe and bend/run conduit efficiently across various job sites in the greater Nashville area.
Field Collaboration:
Coordinate closely with other trades, general contractors, and project managers to keep jobs moving forward smoothly.
Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a safe workspace, adhering strictly to OSHA standards and local electrical codes.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC controls installation OR current status as a 2nd-year Electrical Apprentice.
Technical Skills:
Strong ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control submittals.
Field Skills:
Proven proficiency in building control panels, running conduit, and landing/terminating wires.
Location:
Must reside in or near the Nashville, TN area and possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation to travel to local job sites.
