Job Description

Baytown, TX — A day in this role Step into a modern power plant environment where you keep the heartbeat of generation assets steady. As the I&C & Electrical expert on site, you'll keep Distributed Control Systems (DCS), gas and steam turbine controls, generators, transformers, and switchgear operating at peak performance. You'll blend hands-on maintenance, precise calibration, and smart troubleshooting with a relentless focus on safety and compliance. How you'll contribute Own the care and upkeep of plant electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. Continuously monitor and diagnose issues within the plant DCS and turbine control systems. Tackle both routine and complex troubleshooting across electrical and control equipment. Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan work, track progress, and document results. Strengthen preventive maintenance programs in line with OEM guidance and regulatory standards. Keep precise logs, manuals, records, blueprints, and operating procedures up to date. Deliver clear written reports describing control system health and findings. Embed safe work practices and adhere to all safety and health policies at all times. Serve as a technical resource and provide on-the-job training in advanced technical topics. What you bring High School Diploma or technical/vocational degree (or equivalent). At least 5 years working with instrumentation, electrical, and control system applications. Background that includes chemistry, physics, electricity, and mathematics. Hands-on proficiency with DCS programming and configuration. Advanced certifications/licensures. Valid state driver's license. Our safety mindset Your well-being is our priority.
