With a strong presence in the Permian Basin, our Midland team supports operators with reliable, compliant measurement systems that keep production running accurately and efficiently. Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Oilfield Measurement Technician to join our Midland, TX operations. This is a field-based role supporting natural gas measurement systems for our Permian Basin clients. The ideal candidate is local to the Midland/Odessa area, holds hands-on experience with Totalflow measurement systems, and has a solid understanding of measurement compliance, AGA standards, and K factor configuration. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, calibrate, and maintain electronic gas measurement (EGM) equipment including Totalflow MVS units Perform and document calibrations in accordance with AGA standards and client compliance requirements Configure and troubleshoot K factor settings, AGA flow calculations, and device parameters Conduct field verification of measurement data and resolve discrepancies with operators Perform routine preventive maintenance on measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and uptime Generate field reports and maintain accurate service records in compliance with regulatory and client requirements Collaborate with operators, engineers, and other technicians to resolve measurement issues in a timely manner Support additional instrumentation work as required, including basic I&C troubleshooting Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with oilfield electronic gas measurement (EGM) systems Direct experience with Totalflow MVS platforms — required Working knowledge of AGA-3, AGA-7, and AGA-9 flow measurement standards Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and networking concepts, including Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP, with experience troubleshooting communications between Totalflow devices, transmitters, flow computers, and associated instrumentation. Experience with K factor configuration and AGA settings adjustments Competency with measurement calibration procedures and compliance documentation Strong troubleshooting skills across field measurement and associated instrumentation Valid driver's license and ability to travel to field locations within the Permian Basin Local candidates in the Midland/Odessa area strongly preferred Journeyman Instrumentation Technician certification or equivalent trade background is an asset Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $35-$55/hour depending on experience Competitive benefits package including health, dental, and vision Company vehicle or vehicle allowance provided for field travel Paid training and ongoing professional development Stable, long-term employment with a growing regional tea Only candidates with demonstrated Totalflow experience and local availability will be contacted for initial screening.
