Job Summary We are hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians / Controls Technicians to join our growing team. In this role, you'll install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and industrial controls while ensuring compliance with all local codes and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and systems in industrial and commercial settings. Install, program, and maintain industrial control systems, PLCs, VFDs, soft starters, and instrumentation. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and upgrades on electrical and control systems. Read blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to execute projects accurately. Ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC), Texas regulations, and company safety protocols. Mentor apprentices and collaborate with project managers and foremen. Operate tools and equipment safely, including lifts, drills, and testing devices. Required Qualifications Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License preferred; equivalent journeyman-level experience will also be considered. Proficiency with electrical systems (up to 480V), conduits, transformers, and control wiring. Experience with industrial controls, PLCs, VFDs, and field instrumentation is highly preferred. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Physical ability to perform strenuous work, including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 55 pounds. Preferred Skills Experience with power distribution, VFDs & soft starters, field instrumentation, and industrial automation. Familiarity with service calls and emergency repairs.
