Field Service Supervisor / Director of Operations Company Overview Premier Valve & Field Services is a leading provider of valve repair, maintenance, testing, and field services for the oil and gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors. Position Summary The Valve Technician is responsible for the inspection, repair, maintenance, and testing of various types of industrial valves, including pressure relief valves (PRVs), gate valves, ball valves, and control valves. This role requires both shop and field work, supporting customer sites with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and on-site service execution. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, repair, and test valves in both shop and field environments Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reassembly, and calibration of valves Conduct pressure testing, seat leakage testing, and functional testing in accordance with industry standards Troubleshoot valve performance issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions Complete detailed service reports, inspection documentation, and test records Ensure all work complies with company safety policies and industry regulations (API, ASME, etc.) Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition Travel to customer sites as needed to perform field service work Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and team members regarding job status and findings Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, and operational efficiency Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred 2+ years of experience in valve repair, maintenance, or related mechanical field Experience working with PRVs, control valves, and manual valves preferred Knowledge of industry standards such as API and ASME is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in industrial environments Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at customer sites Work Environment Combination of shop and field service environments Exposure to industrial settings, including oil & gas facilities and customer job sites May require extended hours, overtime, and travel based on business needs Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Bonus opportunities based on performance and job completion Companyprovided tools, equipment, and service truck (for field roles) Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO): o 05 years: 120 hours 5+ years: 160 hours 10 Paid Holidays + 2 Floating Holidays Opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization Equal Employment Opportunity Premier Valve & Field Services is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
