Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician - Automation & Controls to support municipal and industrial water/wastewater facilities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automation, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems. Frequent overnight travel is required. Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and maintain process instrumentation and control systems. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including control panels, MCCs, motor controls, and VFDs. Service and repair pumps, motors, drives, and related equipment. Support PLC, SCADA, and relay logic systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams. Perform equipment startup, commissioning, and testing. Follow OSHA and LOTO safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 4-6 years of field service experience in pumping systems, water/wastewater, HVAC, plumbing, or related industries. Experience troubleshooting pumps, motor controls, and electrical/mechanical systems. Working knowledge of
PLC/SCADA
systems. Ability to work independently and travel frequently. Preferred Technical degree, trade school training, or industry certifications. Experience in municipal or industrial water/wastewater environments. Benefits Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k)
Paid Time Off Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
