Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician - Automation & Controls to support municipal and industrial water/wastewater facilities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automation, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems. Frequent overnight travel is required. Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and maintain process instrumentation and control systems. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including control panels, MCCs, motor controls, and VFDs. Service and repair pumps, motors, drives, and related equipment. Support PLC, SCADA, and relay logic systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams. Perform equipment startup, commissioning, and testing. Follow OSHA and LOTO safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 4-6 years of field service experience in pumping systems, water/wastewater, HVAC, plumbing, or related industries.
