At JLL, a leading global real estate services firm, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Automation and Controls Technician to join our Technical & Maintenance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal functioning of automation systems and controls within commercial properties managed by JLL. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the automation and control systems that play a key role in the operational efficiency and safety of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine and emergency maintenance on building automation systems and controls. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems, lighting, and other building systems. Ensure software and hardware updates for all control systems are applied and maintained. Collaborate with facility managers to implement energy-saving measures. Conduct routine inspections and log maintenance tasks and systems performance. Assist in the training of new personnel and staff members on the use of control systems. Required Skills Proven expertise in automated systems and controls, particularly in a commercial real estate setting. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and building management systems. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for building automation. Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and manuals. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
