Job Description

Electrical Controls Technician - 2nd shift
Location:
SW Wisconsin Shift:
2nd Shift (Some flexibility on hours: 3p-11p)
Pay:
up to $90,000 / year We are seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to join a 2nd shift team at a manufacturing operation in the SW Wisconsin / Greater Dubuque area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industrial electrical and controls experience who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire opportunity. Meaning, the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company's payroll and be eligibile for their benefits package. New position created due to job growth and will be working with new machines and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain facility electrical systems and equipment Install, repair, and maintain electrical power distribution systems (480V and below) Program, troubleshoot and repair industrial control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and safety circuits Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment issues and perform repairs as needed Support preventative maintenance efforts to minimize downtime Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail
Qualifications:
Associate degree or technical training in Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or related field preferred 2-4 years of related industrial electrical/controls experience preferred Equivalent education and hands-on experience will be considered Electrical certification, licensing, or completion of an electrician program is a plus Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety practices preferred Ready for your next opportunity?
