5:00 AM start Overtime and occasional Saturdays required Overview SkillsetGroup is seeking an experienced Anodize Lead for an aerospace metal finishing company. This is a Direct Hire opportunity . This role is responsible for overseeing daily anodizing operations, ensuring quality and compliance within a NADCAP environment, and leading a small team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and a mentor/coach mindset. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of 3 Anodizers and 3 Rackers Oversee daily anodizing operations including Type II, Type III (hardcoat), and boric sulfuric processes Ensure compliance with NADCAP, aerospace, and customer specifications Monitor and maintain chemical baths, process parameters, and production quality Troubleshoot issues related to coating thickness, adhesion, and finish quality Maintain production schedules and meet delivery deadlines Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives Enforce safety procedures and proper chemical handling practices Mentor, train, and coach team members to improve performance and consistency Qualifications Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) 5+ years of anodizing experience in an aerospace environment Experience working in a NADCAP-certified facility Strong leadership experience (Lead or Supervisor level) Hands-on experience with Type II and Type III anodizing processes Experience with boric sulfuric (Type 1C) anodizing Knowledge of chemical processing, titrations, and bath maintenance Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
