Studio Assistants / Aides

Join our team at Artstudio 4 Kids, Fall afterschool, starting September 2026! Artstudio 4 Kids is seeking Studio Assistants / Aides who love creativity, enjoy working with children, and thrive in a hands-on, encouraging environment. If you're energized by art, inspired by young imaginations, and excited to support children as they build confidence through creativity, this could be the perfect role for you. This part-time position is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours and meaningful work. You'll play an important role in supporting art classes, assisting students with projects, and helping create a welcoming, positive studio atmosphere where every child feels proud of what they create. You'll love this job if you're patient, adaptable, enjoy solving problems in the moment, and want to make a genuine difference in children's creative journeys. Experience & Skills

• Experience working with children (teaching, childcare, camps, or similar settings)
• Comfortable using basic art supplies and techniques
• Ability to follow directions and support the lead teacher as needed
• Strong communication skills with students and parents
• Physical ability to stand, bend, and carry materials for 2-3 hours during set-up and clean-up Personal Qualities
• Patient, kind, and encouraging with students of all skill levels
• Reliable and punctual
• Detail-oriented when preparing materials and organizing the studio
• Flexible and adaptable when plans change
• A team player who takes direction well Schedule & Logistics
• Availability required on M ondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2:00-6:00pm, starting September 14, 2026
• Comfortable working in a lively, creative studio environment Responsibilities
• Set up the studio space and art materials before each class
• Assist students during art projects with guidance and encouragement
• Support the lead teacher with classroom flow and management
• Help with clean-up and organization after each session
• Prepare student artwork for art show displays
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students Compensation & Benefits
• Starting pay of $17-$19 per hour , based on experience
