Job Description

Join our Manufacturing team — production, assembly, operation of equipment, and more — and help us deliver an unmatched selection of products made with quality materials and workmanship. The Wax team creates and refines high-quality wax patterns for the lost-wax casting process. They use a variety of handheld tools, similar to dental instruments, to shape wax and plastic injections from molds. They will inspect the quality of pieces and remove any flaws from the patterns. The separate wax and plastic pieces are combined onto a common sprue rod to create a tree-like structure also used in the lost-wax casting process. The role of a Wax Technician is to efficiently produce & manicure wax patterns of the highest quality possible to be used for the lost wax casting process. To accomplish this, you will be using a variety of handheld tools, some which are like dental tools. You will create the wax pattern by using a wax injection machine and rubber molds. Then, you will inspect the quality of the wax injection and use the handheld tools to remove blemishes and correct flaws.
Key Responsibilities:
Process fill lines for specific order requirements for count, size, & color while maintaining efficiencyInspect & manicure injected patterns to ensure the highest quality part for the casting processInspect parts for quality issues or imperfectionsPerform manual paper processing operations necessary to fulfill daily work operationsUse a series of rubber molds to produce duplicate wax patterns of a specific series number using a wax injecting machineComplete computer-based training periodically.

Monitor emails to attain and communicate important information.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentReliable team player with strong communication skillsAbility to maintain excellent numerical accuracy in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to learn new skillsDemonstrated proficiency in tasks requiring manual dexterity and close-range detail observationProficient eyesight capable of detecting minor flawsFlexibility with hoursAble to sit for your work shift and perform repetitious production tasks
