Job Description The Washington Waldorf School is seeking a half-time woodworking teacher , beginning immediately. Key job duties include the following: Teach woodworking and allied skills Grades 4-8. Manage well-equipped school woodworking shop, including maintaining tools, supplies, and machinery, ordering materials, and keeping shop space clean and in good order. Assess student work and write semester and year-end reports. Meet with parents as needed.
Requirements for the position include:
Bachelor's degree Teaching experience Demonstrated expertise in woodworking and allied crafts Ability to work independently and solve problems Ability to pass Maryland criminal background check.
