Hardscape Technician

Total Grounds is a thriving professional landscape company and is seeking the right candidate for a Hardscapes Technician. A technician is responsible for production and execution of hardscape installations to include: patios, walkways, retaining walls, veneer, and other hardscape outdoor elements. You will work closely with team members to execute landscape designs and elements for our customers. In addition to Hardscapes, the Technician will also be responsible for actively participating in snow removal routes during storm events.

Key Responsibilities:

Installing and understanding the technical aspects of some of the following: stone veneer, paver patios, block and natural stone walls, stairs, outdoor fireplaces, and water features. Experience being a team player, or leader, on a hardscape crew. Work efficiently alongside multi-person crew to complete assigned tasks, work tickets, and projects within scope and budget. Display a high level of communication and professionalism when working with other team members, client and subcontractors Willingness to learn and train to use top of the line equipment. Active team member for snow operations in the winter

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in hardscape installation techniques, materials, and tools. Knowledge and understanding of how to operate equipment pertaining to industry. Good organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with jobsite safety regulations and best practices. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor Schedule flexibility to meet demand and hours required to complete assigned projects on time. Willingness to learn software programs (such as Aspire) built by Total Grounds and relevant industry programs.
