Skyframe is looking for a skilled and passionate Picture Framer with a woodworking background to join our team in Hillside, NJ. Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and assemble custom picture frames using wood and other materials Operate woodworking tools and equipment including saws, joiners, and routers safely and efficiently Fit and mount artwork, photos, and prints into finished frames with precision Sand, finish, and stain wood frames to meet quality and aesthetic standards Interpret customer orders and design specifications to deliver accurate results Inspect finished products for quality control before delivery or display Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment

Requirements:

Prior experience in picture framing, carpentry, or woodworking required Proficiency with hand tools and power woodworking equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship and quality Ability to read and follow measurements, blueprints, or order specifications accurately Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials of varying weights Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Experience with mat cutting or glass fitting is a plus
