About the Role We are looking for a skilled Precision Cutting Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty cutting equipment to process a variety of materials, ensuring that every piece meets exact project specifications while maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Execute precise cuts on diverse materials including aluminum, stainless steel, various alloys, and dimensional lumber to meet project blueprints. Ensure material yield optimization by accurately calculating measurements and converting between decimal and fractional units. Maintain rigorous quality control by verifying all cuts against technical drawings and specifications. Utilize precision measuring tools, specifically tape measures, to ensure accuracy down to 1/16 of an inch. Perform routine equipment inspections to ensure machinery remains in peak operating condition. Uphold a clean and organized workspace to facilitate smooth workflow and prevent workplace hazards. Qualifications Required Skills Proven ability to read and interpret tape measures with high precision. Mathematical proficiency, specifically in converting decimals to fractions and vice versa. Hands-on experience operating industrial saws or similar cutting machinery. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Preferred Skills Previous experience working with both metallic alloys and wood products. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
