We are looking for exceptional people to teach at Academie de Ballet Classique classes in Bend, Oregon. In this role you will work with a dedicated team of performing arts educators to deliver our programs to children & adults. We seek efficient, vibrant teachers of dance who are passionate about the transformational benefits of performance for dancers.
In this role you will:
Inspire children and/or adults by teaching weekly ballet classes. Direct class performances each term, (ie. Late Fall Nutcracker, Winter Show, June performance) Prepare class lessons and materials according to studio (Leap-N-Learn, RAD & ISTD) learning outcomes and standards Adhere to the professional guidelines (as described by the Leap-N-Learn, RAD & ISTD) and values of ABCBend Contribute passionately to online and in person team catch-ups & teacher trainings. Attend and engage fully in our annual Team Retreat.
Candidates must be able to:
teach and manage dancers Complete a background check Complete Child Abuse Awareness program
