Job Description

Who You are A skilled ceramist with strong interpersonal skills who thrive in a peer-support learning environment. You bring a genuine passion for learning, supporting others in their ceramic journey, and skills to thrive in your role as coach and studio tech. What You'll Do Teach and Coach students and members of all skill levels through classes and workshops Maintain studio equipment, materials, and cleanliness standards Prepare clay, glazes, and washes; load and fire kilns. Manage inventory and organize deliveries Guide students and members on studio policies, procedures, and safety Communicate proactively with Studio Managers Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming, supportive, and resilient atmosphere Organize, participate, and support studio events and special projects What You Bring Comprehensive ceramic knowledge and refined technical skills Teaching experience and coaching skills (if you have never experienced coaching, we'll train you), and ability to accommodate diverse learning styles Practice expertise in kiln operation, glaze mixing, and clay reclaiming. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and stay focused in a dynamic studio environment Physical capability to lift 50 lbs.
