No relocation options. Laser Components Detector Group, Inc. in Chandler is looking for a Production Operator that will be working in our Electronics Assembly, Test and Inspection department.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Microelectronics Component Assembly skills in wire bonding, soldering, projection welding, and die attach experience for our microelectronics device manufacturing factory Electronic device testing with wafer prober, oscilloscope, signal analyzer, multimeter, lock-in amplifier is desirable. Electronic device quality inspection under a microscope or with instruments such as calipers. The individual will be part of a dynamic team assembling high performance electronics devices and components such as avalanche photodiodes (APDs) and PINs, high speed receivers, linear arrays, TEC-cooled photoconductors, and pyroelectric detectors. In a state-of-the-art production facility, our devices are processed with different materials including, silicon, InGaAs, lead salts, and pyroelectrics. The successful candidate will be an experienced electronics manufacturing Operator capable of: Working with very small parts under a microscope or specialized video equipment. Must have excellent vision and good hand-eye coordination. Able to interpret product drawings and schematics, as well as follow verbal and written instructions. Responsible and accountable for producing high quality work to prescribed standards (military and commercial), with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget. Capable of being trained across the entire product line, and working with Engineering on new or emerging products as well as producing first articles.

years+ of work experience within an Electronics component Manufacturing environment.

3+ years of work experience assembling, testing, and inspecting electronics components Ability to work under a microscope for long hours Demonstrated history of successful work experience. Proven track record of successful manufacturing assembly/test of electronics components Excellent punctuality and attendance. Laser Components Detector Group, Inc. has been researching, developing, and manufacturing semiconductor detectors in Phoenix since 2004. The Detector Group specializes in engineering custom developments of individual configurations, resulting in high-performance Silicon Photodiodes, InGaAs Avalanche Photodiodes (APD), pyroelectric detectors, and Lead Salt IR Detectors for use in the detection of the smallest amounts of light and radiation. We fabricate, assemble, and test most of these products in-house. Our product range extends from low-cost APDs for commercial applications to high-end components used in military applications. Our products feature in cutting edge applications such as LiDAR for autonomous vehicles, drone technology, satellite missions to name just a few. The heart of our photon-counting APD modules also originated at our facility. We also specialize in building complete receivers that are engineered to demonstrate high sensitivity, high wavelength range, and large frequency width.
