Hire Overview:
We are seeking an Assembly Control Panel Specialist (UL508 Control Panel Builder) to join our automation team in North Phoenix. In this role, you will assemble electrical control panels and automation components used in automated systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical assembly and wiring experience, the ability to read electrical schematics, and knowledge of JIC standard graphic symbols used in electrical diagrams. This role also supports general shop operations to ensure production runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble UL508 industrial control panels and automation components following wiring diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings. Perform electrical wiring, crimping, fastening, and connections using hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, crimpers, and wire strippers. Route and terminate wires according to electrical specifications and panel layouts. Interpret electrical schematics and JIC standard graphic symbols to ensure accurate panel assembly. Conduct basic testing and inspection of control panels to verify proper function and quality standards. Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing electrical components and materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Prepare materials and component kits to support production and assembly processes. Assist team members with additional tasks to help meet production and shipping deadlines.
Requirements:
Experience building UL508 industrial control panels
REQUIRED.
Electrical wiring or control panel assembly experience
REQUIRED.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and JIC standard graphic symbols. Experience using hand tools and electrical wiring tools (crimpers, wire strippers, drills, etc.). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work in a shop/production environment and lift materials as needed. #MFT3
