This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, ensuring precision and quality in every project. As a Wiring Technician II, you will be instrumental in translating schematics into functional assemblies, maintaining high standards of electrical safety, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will contribute directly to the success of our innovative products. Duties Interpret detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble and wire electronic components accurately. Perform surface mount technology (SMT) assembly on printed circuit boards (PCBs) using soldering techniques aligned with IPC 610 standards. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters to measure, cut, strip, and connect electrical wiring with precision. Verify electrical connections and functionality through testing procedures, including the use of multimeters and other measurement devices. Assemble mechanical components and integrate electrical wiring within enclosures following strict manufacturing protocols. Maintain detailed documentation of wiring configurations, test results, and assembly processes for quality assurance. Support continuous process improvements by identifying potential issues in wiring or assembly procedures and suggesting enhancements. Skills Strong understanding of PCB design, manufacturing processes, and surface mount technology (SMT). Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical diagrams for electrical wiring. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation applications. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies and soldering quality. Skilled in soldering techniques for both through-hole and surface mount components. Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment. Electrical troubleshooting skills utilizing ohmmeters and other testing instruments to diagnose issues effectively. Familiarity with electrical wiring practices within manufacturing environments, including safety protocols.
