You will use a variety of tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to perform precise, repetitive operations in a cleanroom environment, focusing heavily on microscope work and small-part assembly. This is a 2nd shift position in a high-volume production setting with strong emphasis on quality, compliance, and teamwork.

  • Responsibilities

+ Inspect various raw materials and assembled components, including catheters and other small parts, to verify conformance to specifications.

+ Perform other related duties as assigned to support manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Minimum of 6 months of high-volume small-part assembly experience using a microscope, or 1 to 2 years of medical device assembly experience for stronger candidates.

+ Demonstrated ability to work with a microscope for up to 90% of the shift, performing detailed inspection and assembly of small components.

+ Experience with small-part assembly, including handling, positioning, and inspecting tiny components and raw materials such as catheters.

+ Understanding of cleanroom work practices and the ability to work 100% of the time in a controlled cleanroom environment.

+ Proficiency using hand tools and measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers in a production or assembly setting.

+ Strong communication skills to follow instructions, report issues, and collaborate effectively with trainers, engineers, and coworkers.

+ Ability to comply with quality, regulatory, and safety requirements and consistently follow detailed work instructions.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + 1 to 2+ years of medical device assembly experience, ideally in a cleanroom environment, is strongly preferred.

+ Experience in any assembly or production role (approximately 6 months or more) is beneficial for average-level candidates.

+ Prior cleanroom experience, including familiarity with gowning procedures and contamination control, is a strong plus.

+ Mechanical or electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.

+ Ability to quickly learn and apply standard operating procedures during onboarding through reading, training, and shadowing.

+ Attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise work with very small parts and delicate materials.

+ Comfort working in close workstations alongside other team members in a structured, process-driven environment.

+ Interest in contributing to products that have a direct impact on patient health and outcomes.

+ Openness to a long-term contract assignment of approximately 12 to 18 months.

  • Why Work Here?
  • Employees join this organization to be part of a growing company with a strong sense of purpose, producing devices that directly help patients by removing blood clots and improving health outcomes.

When converted to permanent status, team members enjoy robust benefits and the stability of a well-established manufacturing operation. The workplace offers a positive atmosphere, regular catered lunches once a week, and the opportunity to develop specialized skills in medical device assembly and cleanroom manufacturing, creating a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

  • Work Environment
  • This role is based in a manufacturing facility and is entirely performed in a cleanroom environment, working at close stations alongside other assemblers.

The position is on 2nd shift, with typical start times around 3:30 pm or 3:45 pm, for 8-hour shifts plus any required overtime. All team members must be open to working during weekdays and available on Saturdays when needed.
