Position Overview:
As an Electronic Technician, you'll play a critical role in assembling, wiring, testing, and configuring electronic components and control systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success of cutting-edge agricultural technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and wire power supplies, PLC controllers, and other components based on schematics and engineering specifications. Build and wire control enclosures and panels with precision. Configure and program electronic control devices as needed. Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of control enclosures and power systems. Verify proper operation of assembled systems before deployment. Re-certify and test returned equipment. Stage and pack equipment for installation and deployment. Process and track incoming materials and components. Document build processes, configuration settings, and test results. Maintain organized workspaces and adhere to safety procedures. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure product quality and continuous improvement. Assist in identifying and resolving assembly or design issues.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronics assembly or a related technical field. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electronic testing equipment (e.g., multimeter). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Basic understanding of electrical systems and low-voltage control systems. Ability to follow documented processes and maintain accurate records.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical certification in electronics or a related field. Experience building industrial control panels or agricultural technology systems. Familiarity with programmable controllers or electronic control modules. Soldering experience.
