Hand Solder PCB Electronics Assembler Location:
Moorpark, CA Pay Rate:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (4/10 Work Schedule)

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Johnson Service Group is partnering with a leading electronics manufacturer in Moorpark, CA to identify a skilled Hand Solder / Electronics Assembler. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in PCB assembly, SMT and through-hole soldering, and electronics manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in building high-quality electronic assemblies used in advanced commercial and industrial applications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Hand solder Surface Mount (SMT) and Through-Hole components onto printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) Install, assemble, and rework fine-pitch SMT devices Perform solder touch-ups, repairs, and rework under a microscope Read and interpret Bills of Material (BOMs), assembly drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing travelers Identify electronic components and verify proper orientation and polarity Solder to both RoHS and non-RoHS standards Utilize hot-air rework stations and other soldering equipment Follow ESD, ISO, quality, and manufacturing procedures Inspect work to ensure compliance with IPC and customer quality standards Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) improvements when applicable Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Hand soldering experience preferred PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing experience preferred Experience with SMT and Through-Hole assembly techniques Experience working under magnification and microscopes Experience using hot-air rework stations Ability to read, write, and speak English Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Preferred Skills & Certifications
