  • Hiring Assembler / Assembly Technicians II!
  • Job Description
  • This mid-level Assembler / Assembly Technician II role focuses on performing advanced mechanical and electronic assemblies in a production environment.

You interpret manufacturing documents, execute quality-focused work, and handle both standard and complex assembly tasks, including rework and modifications. You work closely with engineers, technicians, and quality teams to ensure that assemblies meet specifications, documentation is accurate, and continuous improvement opportunities are identified.

  • Responsibilities
  • + Read and follow manufacturing plans, drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete assembly tasks correctly.

+ Perform touch-ups to ensure high-quality finishes on parts and assemblies.

+ Assemble, disassemble, modify, and rework prototype or experimental units as needed.

+ Support testing of assemblies and prototypes by following procedures and recording results.

+ Keep accurate records, including inspection logs and work completion reports.

+ Work with engineers, technicians, and quality teams to fix assembly issues quickly.

+ Suggest improvements to assembly processes and product designs.

+ Build wire harnesses, frame assemblies, and motors using drawings and instructions.

+ Perform wiring and electronic assembly, including soldering when required.

+ Safely use hand and power tools (e.g., torque drivers, screwdrivers, micrometers).

+ Follow quality standards (such as

ISO 9001

) and support a strong quality culture.

  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morgan Hill, CA.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $23.

00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
