Volt is immediately hiring for an Electro-mechanical Assembler in Poway, CA As an Electro-mechanical Assembler, you will: Assemble and disassemble electro-mechanical and ceramic components using hand tools and production equipment. Perform soldering and de-soldering on electronic and ceramic assemblies. Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions. Follow engineering change orders (ECOs) and manufacturing documentation. Operate equipment used for molding, shaping, and mixing materials such as adhesives and urethanes. Conduct in-process inspections to verify quality and compliance with specifications. Complete assembly tasks including bonding, encapsulating, curing, sanding, cleaning, and testing. Use measuring and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and torque tools. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

2+ years of manufacturing, assembly, or electro-mechanical assembly experience. Experience with soldering and electronic assembly. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and written work instructions. Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and measuring equipment. Preferred Skills & Qualifications

IPC/J-STD

soldering training or certification. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Kanban systems. Knowledge of production documentation and change control processes. Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

PM Pay Rate:
