Job Description

Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electromechanical Technician. As a leading manufacturer of precision automation products based in Rancho Santa Margarita, we are seeking an experienced technician to support our manufacturing operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to innovation and excellence. Duties Assemble and install electrical wiring, mechanical components, and circuit boards according to detailed schematics and technical drawings Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to perform precise assembly and adjustments Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) following IPC 610 standards for quality and reliability Test electrical circuits using ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate manufacturing processes Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately assemble and repair electromechanical systems Conduct inspections of assemblies using IPC 610 standards, ensuring compliance with quality requirements for manufacturing products Collaborate with engineering teams to refine assembly procedures and improve system reliability Qualifications Proven PCB assembly, soldering, and wiring experience in manufacturing Experience with precision mechanical assemblies like bearings, sensors, servo and stepper motors, and their controllers. Strong mechanical skills using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and electrical testing. Familiar with schematics, technical drawings, and troubleshooting circuits with ohmmeters. Experience with PLCs and understanding of automation systems. Able to interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Electrical and mechanical skills are crucial for this role.
