What You'll Do:
Technical Expertise (25%) : Troubleshoot and repair digital and AC electrical systems to the component level using schematics and advanced test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal generators, etc.). Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and testing of equipment supporting the Proton Treatment Center. Maintain a professional and organized electronics lab. Quality Control (25%) : Conduct electrical quality assurance tests to meet ISO 9001
standards. Develop written test procedures for system components with minimal engineering input. Ensure ISO compliance by supporting successful audits with no major findings. Material Maintenance Requests (25%) : Process Field Service MMR repair items promptly to prevent downtime at the Proton Center. Collaborate with Materials Management to maintain adequate spare assemblies and prioritize repairs, providing 24/7 emergency support when needed. Production Request Forms (25%) : Fabricate and test electromechanical and electronic assemblies per schedule, quality, and budget requirements. What You Bring:
Experience :
5+ years in electrical systems, electronic fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting. Education :
Associate degree in Electronics, technical school certification with 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical Skills :
Proficiency with hand tools, drills, cable testers, chip programmers, solder/de-solder stations, and advanced test equipment. Ability to analyze test data, prepare performance/failure reports, and maintain detailed repair and maintenance logs. Communication :
Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents, write reports, and clearly communicate complex technical concepts verbally and in writing. Problem-Solving :
Sharp reasoning skills to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions from technical instructions and diagrams. Physical Requirements :
Comfortable with prolonged sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing equipment installation/repair during extended shifts (8+ hours) when needed. Work Ethic :
