Vista, California, United States Talascend is currently seeking an Electromechanical Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in Vista, California. Overview This role involves assembling panels and other product lines in a warehouse/production environment, supporting team projects, and ensuring quality standards are met. Responsibilities Build electrical panels, harnesses, and small sub-assemblies according to work instructions and schematics.
Solder wires, PCBA's, and components.
Assemble cables, harnesses, panels, enclosures, and other small sub-assemblies.
Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and schematics.
Install components and devices per assembly documentation.
Utilize basic hand tools and power tools.
Measure, cut, strip, and route wires on panels and enclosures.
Use multi-meters, continuity checkers, calipers, tape measures, and rulers to verify product conformity.
Complete build records and documentation as required.
Conduct quality checks on own work and perform buddy checks on others' work.
Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization using 5S methodologies.
Follow manufacturing guidelines and adhere to company policies. Qualifications 3+ years' experience in manufacturing or research and development.
High school diploma.
ESD awareness.
Current or expired certification in IPC 620, 610, 7711, 7721, or J-standard.
Basic computer skills for daily tasks. Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
Drive and ambition to complete work timely.
