Job Description

Overview Has the knowledge and ability to efficiently conduct and perform one of the four functions of Tower Assembly with little to no supervision. Able to complete projects from work orders and blue prints. Responsible for learning the procedures, drawings, components, and products manufactured. Relies on limited experience and instruction to plan and accomplish goals. Duties Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Constructs electrical components using proper hand or power tools. Fitting electrical components together per drawing and blueprints. If needed works on the Machine Motor Drive. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; ensure workstation is clean, organized and that production parts, tools, test equipment and documentation are properly stored and maintained. Other duties as assigned. Skills Strong knowledge of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly processes including surface mount technology (SMT). Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately. Experience with electrical wiring, electrical schematic interpretation, and electrical panel building. Skilled in soldering techniques adhering to IPC 610 standards for electronics assembly. Familiarity with electro-mechanical components and mechanical assembly procedures. Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools safely and effectively. Competence in using measurement instruments like calipers and ohmmeters for quality assurance. Mechanical knowledge including machining processes for component fitting or modifications. Engineering troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical or mechanical issues during assembly or testing phases. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is valued! Pay:
$17.00 - $28.00 per hour
