Full Job Description Summary:
The Electromechanical Assembler will work closely with other assemblers to build capital equipment primarily used in the metal forming industry. You must be able to read blueprints, know how to use a variety of hand and power tools, and able to stand for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for using equipment such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, crimping tools, cutters, and any other equipment that will assist in the satisfactory performance of duties. Build equipment based on accurate and efficient interpretation of drawings, schematics, blueprints, and sketches Test and inspect components for uniformity and quality Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers Responsible for good housekeeping of individual work area
Requirements:
Experience in the assembly of industrial electrical components, wiring of instruments and units, and the use of all equipment associated with the satisfactory performance of duties. Knowledge using mechanical equipment associated with performance of duties. Minimum of 3+ years' experience Ability to use, read, and interpret drawings, measuring scale and tape proficiency Ability to work in a team or solo environment. High school diploma or GED required
Plus:
Trade school or certificate in electronics, engineering, manufacturing technology or a related area Understanding of the metal forming and wire forming industries Experience with material handling equipment Knowledge of PLCs, servo motor drives, switches, sensors, relays, motor starters and other industrial devices used in machine control

Pay:
$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
