Manufacturing Full Job Description Summary:
The Industrial Panel Wirer will assemble, wire, and troubleshoot control panels and related electrical components for capital equipment primarily used in the metal forming industry. You must be able to read wiring diagrams, use hand and power tools, and apply electrical knowledge and techniques to perform assigned job duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Retrieve parts from inventory Record labor assigned to jobs Read and interpret wiring diagrams Perform point-to-point wiring to assemble control panels Drill and tap enclosures and subpanels Solder and crimp connections Troubleshoot wiring and control issues at final assembly using a multimeter Modify enclosures using saws, nibblers, and shears
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment 3+ years experience reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams 3+ years experience in industrial panel wiring Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to use stairs
Plus:
Experience with PLCs and drives Additional Notes Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
