Job Description
Senior Electrical Assembler Reporting to the Assembly Supervisor, the Electrical Assembler (Lead, Senior, Staff and Associate levels) is responsible for performing a wide range of assembly and integration tasks related to the production of ruggedized electrical and electronic enclosures, sub-assemblies, and integrated systems. This position facilitates and supports the end-to-end process of production, assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical components using appropriate tools, fixtures, and test equipment, in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and AS9100 quality standards. Working collaboratively across levels, the Electrical Assemblers ensure product quality, efficiency, and consistency throughout the production process. The Lead and Senior Assemblers provide guidance and training to peers and associates, verify work quality, and ensure compliance with MIL standards and customer requirements. Staff and Associate Assemblers support fabrication, wiring, and final assembly stages, contributing to overall team productivity and maintaining compliance with safety, documentation, and inspection procedures. This combined role ensures that all assembly activities, ranging from component preparation to system-level integration, are executed safely, accurately, and efficiently to meet production schedules and company performances goals.

Cut wire to specified lengths, using wire cutters. Cut plastic sleeves and slip sleeves over wire ends to insulate connections. Crimp terminal eyelets and lugs to wire ends, using hand or machine crimping devices. Route, comb, twist, wrap, tie, and attach wire to terminal points, according to jig board layout, using soldering gun and hand tools. Connect wiring to accessories, such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, condensers, switches, and install accessory assemblies in electrical or electronic units, using soldering gun and hand tools. Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, dielectric strength, and operational tests of electrical assemblies, components, wire harness, and plugs, using ohmmeter, test lights, and other electrical testing instruments. Assemble components to a final configured product utilizing process and drawing instructions and blueprints and specialized tooling and fixtures, measuring equipment and hand tools. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine established assembly methods. Work as an individual or in a team environment. Stage inspection of product at required intervals to verify accuracy of work. May perform final inspection and release paperwork prior to delivery to the customer. Report any quality control issues to the supervisor. Other duties, responsibilities, and projects may be assigned from time to time. Use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, digital multimeters, and automated cable testers. Ability to read electrical schematics and understand assembly electrical codes. Basic computer navigation and utilization skills to access production documents. Mathematical skills including fractions and decimals. Connect wiring to accessories such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, condensers, switches, and solenoids using hand tools. Conduct functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, and plugs using appropriate instruments. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience leading or training employees in an assembly or manufacturing environment. Ability to monitor workflow and allocate tasks effectively among team members. Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational procedures. Effective communication skills and ability to foster teamwork and accountability. Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills in a production environment. What You Bring High School Diploma or GED (required) A Technical Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is an added advantage.
