Job Description

Electrical Mechanical Assembler Location:
Stamford, CT Comp:
$25/hour
Hours:
M-Th 7-4 or 8-5, Fri 7-1 or 8-2 This position is responsible for a wide variety of assembly tasks across various products with something different every day. This employment opportunity is for an individual with excellent manual dexterity, the ability to take detailed direction, a willingness to be trained and to practice precise high-quality assembly techniques. Successful applicants will be driven, and excel as part of a highly capable, high performance team. We value commitment, passion and out of the box creativity. The successful individual will be part of a close-knit group with full exposure and involvement in all aspects of the company. Key responsibilities Assembly of aircraft lighting products PC board soldering Wiring harness and direct wiring Mechanical assembly Adhesive dispensing Wire cutting and stripping Ability to read and understand schematics Support of assembly - difficult tasks Prototypes Variety of assembly tasks Qualifications/Experience Soldering, surface mount & through hole Ability to read and understand blueprints & wiring schematcis Wiring cutting and stripping, wire crimping PCB repair, surface mount solder repair is a plus.
IPC-A-610
& or SMT soldering training a plus Manufacturing schematic and documentation reading Technical training or schooling is an advantage Personal Specification Essential Qualities Manual dexterity Communication skills The ability to take detailed direction An awareness of health and safety Ability to read and understand the given information and follow the instructions given An excellent team player with good organizational skills Ability to read and speak English Company Benefits/PTO Full health benefits HRA 401k Generous PTO Xmas-New Years week closed IND2
