Electrical Assembler

Position is Offered by No Fee Staffing Agency Spherion Gainesville FL has a client looking for Electrical Assemblers to work first shift in their Alachua, FL location. You will be performing electrical assembly in a production environment where you'll be assembling large and heavy parts to complete subassemblies and drilling rigs using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment. Salary:

$20/hr Depending on Experience Working hours: 6:30 AM

• 3:00

PM Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of specialized electrical assembly operations
• Review specifications to determine assembly and special options
• Check bins for adequate supplies
• Ensures connections for correct fit, parts, and sub-assemblies per specifications
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Basic hand tool knowledge
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Willingness to work overtime and shift work as needed

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• High school or GED preferred

• Highly Preferred:

  Previous experience with low voltage controls systems, automotive/vehicle wiring, or AC/DC equipment repair/installation
