Assembler (Electronics & Soldering) - $16-$17/hr Job Summary We are seeking an Assembler with experience in soldering, electronic assembly, and wire routing to support the production of electronic transponders and beacons. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assembling circuit boards, soldering electronic components, reading work instructions, and performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment. This position also includes packaging and shipping responsibilities in a clean, organized, air-conditioned facility. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electronic assembly of transponders and beacons by installing printed circuit boards, batteries, wires, and other electronic components.
  • Solder wires, terminals, and electronic components to circuit boards following assembly instructions and quality standards.
  • Route, terminate, and secure wiring according to engineering drawings and standard operating procedures.
  • Use hand tools including soldering irons, wire strippers, screwdrivers, crimpers, and cutters.
  • Inspect completed assemblies for proper solder connections, component placement, and overall functionality.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet manufacturing specifications prior to packaging.
  • Package, label, and prepare completed products for shipment.
  • Update inventory and production records using basic computer systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation while adhering to all safety requirements.
  • Work with production team members to meet daily manufacturing goals and shipping schedules. Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of manufacturing, production, or electronics assembly experience.
  • Previous soldering experience on wires, connectors, or circuit boards.
  • Experience performing electrical or mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and SOPs.
  • Experience using soldering equipment and common assembly tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and production tracking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications
  • IPC soldering experience or similar electronics assembly .
  • Experience with PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly.
  • Knowledge of wire harness assembly, crimping, and cable routing.
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies.
  • Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
