PM Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Equipment Manufacturing Assembler to assemble precision electronic and electromechanical devices used in medical equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic assembly, soldering, cable and wire fabrication, and working with small components while maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

Perform electromechanical device and equipment sub-assembly. Assemble simple mechanical components and electronic devices according to drawings and written procedures. Perform SMT and through-hole soldering using established manufacturing standards. Fabricate cable and wire assemblies and sub-assemblies. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures. Use hand tools, soldering irons, and measurement instruments to support assembly operations. Follow ESD procedures and maintain proper ESD controls throughout the assembly process. Inspect completed work to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and product quality. Complete and maintain accurate manufacturing and production documentation. Maintain assembly equipment and a clean, organized workstation. Participate in cross-training activities to develop additional assembly skills. Work collaboratively across departments to help identify and resolve production issues quickly. Follow all applicable quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical certification in electronics assembly or a related field preferred. IPC-A-610 or J-STD certification preferred. Experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering. Experience with medical devices, electronics, or precision assembly preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to participate in cross-training and expand technical skills.
