In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and reworking printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards. Your expertise will help maintain high product quality by performing precise repairs, soldering, and component replacements using a variety of hand tools and equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced production environment where attention to detail and technical skill are essential for success. Responsibilities Inspect PCBs and electronic assemblies for defects or non-conformities using IPC 610 standards. Perform rework procedures including component removal, replacement, and soldering on surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components. Use schematics, technical drawings, and electrical wiring diagrams to identify issues and execute repairs accurately. Operate hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and machining equipment to modify or repair assemblies. Verify electrical connections and functionality through testing with multimeters, oscilloscopes, or other diagnostic tools. Maintain detailed documentation of rework activities, including defect reports and process notes. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing quality standards throughout all tasks. Requirements Proven experience working with PCB assembly, surface mount technology (SMT), soldering, and electrical wiring. Familiarity with schematics, IPC 610 standards for electronics assembly, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise rework tasks. Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in manufacturing environments.
