Electrical Assembler

Electrical Assembler 2150 Hubbell Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50317 $18.10 an hour

• Full-time $18.10 an hour
• Full-time Immediate openings for Electrical Assembly Technicians.

Must be detail-oriented and have some basic computer skills (will perform some data entry). Duties will include stripping and crimping electrical wires, using hand tools (such as screw drivers, drill press, saws, hand drills) and soldering. Will train some entry-level applicants. The positions are on the 1st shift. First shift hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 am

• 4 pm.

Pay is $18.10 per hour with chances to advance! This is a temp-to-hire position with a great benefits package once you are hired on permanently!

Below are the requirements:

• Recent verifiable production work history in a manufacturing environment required
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, walk and climb stairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch
• will be tested in interview.
• Must have ability to read and write in English
• will be required to follow written instructions and diagrams / technical prints in English
