Overview The Mechanical Machine Assembler is responsible for assembling and plumbing the mechanical elements of our high-precision machines and systems. This position will include some limited design work to be performed in terms of component mounting, sheet metal alterations, fabricating machined parts, and routing of utilities. The details of the design will be captured by the engineering team. This position also requires the ability to estimate time to perform certain tasks.
Responsibilities :
Assemble and wire electrical panels, sub-assemblies, and control cabinets per engineering drawings and schematics. Install and align electrical components, ensuring proper fit, function, and quality. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Perform basic to advanced wiring, soldering, and testing of components. Collaborate with engineers and senior assemblers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete daily production reporting. Follow all company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Requirements :
A minimum of 5 years of experience in precision machine wiring assembly is required. Demonstrated competency in 2D CAD.e Experience with system controls (FANUC, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens) prefered. Experience with common manufacturing materials and machining processes prefered. Ability to take both written and verbal instructions and ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism required.
Specific Technical Knowledge:
Senior-level candidates with 5+ years working experience. Should be skilled in troubleshooting, mentoring, and complex electrical builds. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Experience using hand tools, drills, and wiring equipment; soldering experience. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Pay:
$52.00 per hour
