at Exyte US. Inc., in Nampa, Idaho, United States Job Description Discover your exciting role Exentec is looking for an Electrical Panel Shop Technician to join our team in Nampa, ID! This position is responsible for assembling and wiring electrical panels while ensuring quality, accuracy, and project deadlines are met. The ideal candidate can read and interpret schematics, troubleshoot issues, and work effectively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role. Explore your tasks and responsibilities Read, interpret, and follow work instructions, procedures, and electrical drawings. Read tape measures and accurately interpret fractions and decimals, including basic conversions. Identify and safely use common hand and power tools used in electrical and controls work. Understand basic tool safety, proper use, and associated hazards. Read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, PFDs, and P&IDs with assistance. Assist with the layout and mounting of high- and low-voltage electrical panels and components. Use a square and level to ensure proper component placement and alignment. Assist with wiring electrical components and routing component cabling. Neatly bundle, route, and secure wires within electrical panels. Properly crimp electrical connectors and pin/unpin electrical connections. Identify and understand the function of common high- and low-voltage panel components. Follow all safety procedures and electrical standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Show your expertise Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Analytical and problem-solving skills Basic understanding of Plumbing and Electrical systems (P&ID and Electrical Schematics) Identify a measurement on a print (metric, fractional, and decimal), and take accurate measurements.
