1st shift 5:45am-2:15pm M-F & 2nd shift 2:15pm-10:30pm
M-F Pay :
$19.00 - $22.25 per hour (based off skills level/shift) Job Description As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in operating tools, equipment, and processes according to instructions and based on your experience level. This role would require the use of the computer to access to assembly instructions and update workorders assigned, and document data per SOP requirements. Each assembler would have their own individual workstation, and there is the opportunity to complete assembly duties sitting or standing. This role will be building electrical and robotic solutions for the medical industry around the work, and there is a lot of room for internal growth for an individual. Responsibilities Operate tools, equipment, and processes based on instructions followed. Utilized the computer to access assembly instructions (step-by-step instruction with diagrams too) Ensured raw parts and hardware meet quality expectations before using to construct unit assigned. Communicate effectively with supervisors and escalate issues when necessary regarding quality or replenishment. Maintain accurate timekeeping, record keeping, labor tracking, inventory control, process documentation, scrap, and quality records. Support improvement initiatives to enhance safety, cleanliness, product quality, and efficiency. Generate innovative solutions to complex problems. Keep up-to-date with certifications and training requirements; there will be internal trainings assigned and time given throughout the work week to complete. Train others on tasks when assigned. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.25/hr.
