This hands-on role involves reading schematics and assembly drawings, installing components, routing and terminating wires, and checking finished work for accuracy. Candidates should be comfortable using hand and power tools and following detailed safety and quality instructions. Responsibilities Read and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions. Perform point-to-point wiring in electrical cabinets and control panels. Install, route, label, and terminate wires, cables, and harnesses according to specifications. Assemble modular steel cabinets and copper bus assemblies as directed. Measure parts accurately with a tape measure, including fractions and decimals. Use hand and power tools, including drills and impact drivers, to complete assemblies. Check wiring connections and inspect finished assemblies for quality and accuracy. Use electrical testing equipment as trained and report wiring or assembly issues. Follow required safety procedures, wear appropriate protective equipment, and keep the work area organized. Qualifications Experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, switchgear, or a related manufacturing role preferred. Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or assembly drawings. Familiarity with electrical components such as breakers, relays, contactors, and terminal blocks is helpful. Ability to use a tape measure accurately; candidates may be asked to complete a tape-measure assessment. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to understand safety instructions and production documents in English. Physical Requirements This position involves standing and working with your hands throughout the shift, frequent bending, and lifting or moving up to 40 pounds.
