Entry Level Assembler Monday-Thursday Work Schedule 1st shift: 5am-3:30pm $16/hour 2nd shift: 4pm-2:30am $18/hour Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler who is comfortable being on their feet throughout the day and is eager to work collaboratively with others. This role offers the opportunity for cross-training in various areas of our 12-step process. Responsibilities Document received items in the receiving area. Perform factory resets by manually pressing a button. Conduct automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units to determine necessary repairs. Conduct Wi-Fi and elevated temperature tests. Perform cosmetic cleaning and repairs. Carry out in-process quality control (IPQC). Prepare kits for shipping. Build pallets for shipment to clients. Ensure parts are scanned at every step of the process. Essential Skills Strong attention to detail. Comfortable being on feet for the entirety of the day. Ability to work well with others. Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas. Additional Skills & Qualifications Hand dexterity. Punctuality. Experience in assembly, picking, packing, retail, repair, refurbishment, stock, quality inspection, electronic assembly, soldering, test equipment, RF scanning, computer usage, blueprint reading, and the use of power tools. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
